80 Tibetan students hospitalised
September 21st, 2010 - 9:57 pm ICT by IANSDharamsala, Sep 21 (IANS) At least 80 Tibetan students were admitted to a hospital in this Himachal Pradesh town after they complained of nausea, a health official said here Tuesday.
“Eighty students of the Lower Tibetan Children’s Village School were admitted to hospital by this (Tuesday) morning with symptoms of food poisoning. Forty of them have been discharged,” Chetan Dorji, chief medical officer of Tibetan Delek Hospital, told IANS.
He said food poisoning symptoms started developing in the children after dinner in the school hostel.
