54 more cases of swine flu in Delhi
September 1st, 2010 - 8:43 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 1 (IANS) The national capital reported 54 new cases of swine flu, taking the total number of patients infected by Influenza A (H1N1) virus this year to 980, an official said Wednesday.
“Out of the 54 new cases - 12 are children. No deaths have been reported today (Wednesday),” Debashish Bhattacharya, nodal officer for swine flu, told IANS.
The common symptoms of swine flu are cold, cough, fever, sore throat and headache.
The union health ministry has proposed to the states and union territories to make the vaccination mandatory, if required.
