17 Day Diet Plan Makes Headlines

17dayJan 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There are a number of diets available nowadays and the proponents of them claim that they will help losing flab fast. However, not all such crash diets are effective and some of them also have long term repercussions on human life. San Diego based Dr. Michael Moreno has come up with a unique weight loss plan which is being hailed as the “17 Days Diet”. A boo has been published on this diet and the news has made sensation online. The diet plan invented by Dr. Michael Moreno works on the basis of change in the amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates consumed by the users per day. The changes are made after every 17th day which explains the name of the plan.

As is the case with the majority of diets, the 7 Day diet plan also requires the users to adhere to an exercise regimen. The previous month Dr. Michael Moreno came to the Dr. Phil show where he talked at length about his DVD and book in an attempt to promote it. The first phase of the plan consisting of 17 days falls in the Accelerate section. The followers need to get rid of unnecessary fat in their body during this phase. The foods include chicken, fruit, fresh vegetables and eggs. The second phase of the plan is called Activate. In these 17 days the followers need to stimulate fat burning with some additions in the meals.

The third segment of the plan is Achieve which focuses on adopting healthier eating habits. The exercise amount also needs to be hiked. The last phase is Arrive which is meant for making the followers adapted to healthy eating habits for the rest of their lives.
