11 children among 26 new swine flu cases in Delhi
January 2nd, 2010 - 9:02 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 2 (IANS) At least 26 people, including 11 children, were detected with swine flu in Delhi Saturday, health authorities said.
“We have 26 new swine flu cases of which 11 are children,” Anjana Prakash, the capital’s deputy nodal officer for swine flu, told IANS. There were no casualities reported due to the contagious virus, she added.
With the the latest cases, the cumulative figure of swine flu cases in the capital has reached 9,426. The death toll in the city remains at 72.
