10 swine flu cases reported last week
January 12th, 2011 - 7:45 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 12 (IANS) Ten swine flu cases were reported in the country in the week ending Jan 9, the health ministry said Wednesday. No deaths were reported during the period. Four cases were reported from Tamil Nadu, while one case each was reported from Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Kerala and Gujarat.
Swine flu, which claimed 1,237 lives last year, was at its peak during the monsoon months of May-September 2010.
