London, March 23 (IANS) A 40-year-old lesbian had to spend her wedding night in police lock-up after she bared her breasts at a club doorman and later beat him up with her stiletto shoe.
Miffed at doorman David Jenkins over the entry of an inebriated guest at the reception for her gay wedding, the lesbian bride, Sharon Hancox, first bared her breasts at him and then hit him on the forehead with her red stiletto shoe till blood came out.

Hancox, who had drunk up to eight pints of alcohol, was arrested and had to spend the night in police lock-up, the Telegraph reported.

The bride had an argument with Jenkins over allowing inebriated guest Nicola Hutin to the function in Swansea, South Wales. She took off the top of her red dress exposing her breasts, prosecutor Julie Sullivan told a local court.

She called Jenkins a pervert while her gay partner lunged at him before Hancox, who was wearing a two-inch stiletto shoe, hit him on his forehead till blood came out, the court was told.

Hancox, however, told police she was ashamed of what she had done. Her counsel Steve Burnell said she was only trying to protect her partner.

“One of the guests turned up slightly inebriated. They asked that the woman not be allowed in. She had already taken her shoes off. It wasn’t a deliberate act where she was wearing high heels and had taken them off. She had not fully appreciated that the shoe was in her hand when she swung at him. She’s very remorseful,” he said.

Jenkins, meanwhile, said Hancox had been thrown out of the bar earlier also.

Hancox was released Tuesday and allowed to go on their honeymoon. She was sentenced to a 12-month community order with 60 hours’ unpaid work and also ordered to pay 100 pounds compensation and 150 pounds costs.
