July 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Some community groups in Washington have started handing out female condoms to women across the city to protect them from the risk of HIV. The group believe that these condoms will ensure the safety of the women who will have better control with their usage. They also believe that HIV will spread less if the women can take the matters of sex in their own hands. The campaign has been started in order to promote a new type of female condom that is being touted as more comfortable and easy to use than the previous ones available in the market.
Earlier, women have complained about the female condom being too awkward to be used. Sex educator Maxine Robinson has revealed that the new version, called FC2, is different and her job is to make women be more comfortable using them. The community groups are handing out as many as 500,000 female condoms to the women in Washington as the city is known to have the highest rate of infection in the country.
The female condom is available in pouches that are similar to the male condoms. They are of similar length and are slightly wider. Some of the experts consider them to be more effective than the male condom as it covers a wider area. The campaigners have also demonstrated how to use the condom effectively and even tried to educate the males. A woman who saw the demonstrations and used the FC2 condom said that it was better than anything she has used before and easy to use as well.

What the Hell can that really do but give us false hope. We had our youngest child after the stupid Condon broke! Our child is a gift but still it was a surprise gift. I only imagine HIV would be a surprise alright but definitely Not a gift.
