UK has more attractive tourist spots than other European countries

London, June 23 (ANI): The UK has more entries in list of most-popular free European tourist attractions than any other country, according to a new poll.

With the Pantheon in Rome was voted the top free attraction, the National Gallery in London was second in the table compiled by travel website company TripAdvisor, reports the Sun.

Museum of the Jewellery Quarter was third in a survey of more than 4,000 travellers.

Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris landed the fourth spot while St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral in Brussels stood fifth.

The top ten most-popular free European tourist attractions are:

2 National Gallery, London

3 Museum of the Jewellery Quarter

4 Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris

5 St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral, Brussels

6 Duomo, Florence

7 Retiro Park, Madrid

8 Westminster Abbey, London

9 St Mark’s Basilica, Venice
