Tylenol’s 775 side effects being investigated

tylenol Washington DC, May 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Food and Drugs Administration has started an investigation into reports of 775 serious side effects of Tylenol. The FDA is also investigating reports that whether there have been seven deaths since the drug recall by Johnson & Johnson’s McNeil Healthcare. The FDA has not commented on the new investigations, but the agency is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the recall of the drugs.

McNeil’s recall of children form of Tylenol, Motrin and Benadryl sparked the initial investigation into the company’s manufacturing practices by the Food and Drugs Administration. The investigations led the FDA to issue a very vile report about the manufacturing practices of the Fort Washington facility of McNeil.

Johnson & Johnson later suspended production of its Fort Washington plant to allow for a thorough review of the company’s safety practices. The Food and Drugs Administration then later decided to investigate all the other manufacturing plants of McNeil Healthcare to establish its manufacturing procedure.

The United States Congress also announced an investigation into the recall and quality of McNeil’s children drugs. The hearing of Congress is ongoing and Chief Executive of Johnson & Johnson, William Weldon, failed to appear before the committee because of health issues.
