Son of world’s richest man marries
October 12th, 2010 - 2:24 pm ICT by IANSMexico City, Oct 12 (IANS/EFE) Carlos Slim Domit, the eldest son of Mexican magnate Carlos Slim, considered by Forbes magazine to be the richest man in the world, has got married.
Slim Domit, 43, married Maria Elena Torruco, 27, director of the tourism programme at a university.
Carlos Slim, who has six children, has a fortune of $5.35 billion.
Among the guests in the capital’s upscale Polanco neighbourhood were Nobel literature laureate Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Mexican President Felipe Calderon, businessmen and politicians of different parties.
