USA State health officials have warned consumers to avoid eating uncooked tomatoes which have been linked to deadly salmonella poisoning outbreak in Texas and eight other states. Salmonella poisoning a common form of bacteria infection is on the rise. The poisoning is being related to grocers due to lack of proper infection protection measures during preservation of the groceries. Salmonella poisoning occurs as a food poisoning and affects the digestive organs especially the stomach and the intestines.
The Salmonella bacteria live in the human intestines. The current scare is being blamed on tomato groceries. Kruger stores in the USA have warned consumers against eating uncooked tomatoes. Salmonella poisoning is deadly and leading to acute diarrhea.
Tomatoes on sale have been blacklisted as possible carriers of the bacteria. So far no acute cases have been reported. State heal officials have advised consumers to use the best possible infection protection measures to protect themselves from the Salmonella poisoning.
