London, Jun 21 (ANI): Welsh actor Rhys Ifans, who recently broke-up with Sienna Miller, was reprimanded by police after throwing a beer bottle toward photographers as he left a charity event.

The result of too much drinking had finally taken its toll on Ifans, who became so crazed that after the attack he burst into tears as cops scolded him.

The evening had started off with a wrap party for his latest flick The Boat That Rocked at Shoreditch House, East London, putting on a brave face as he partied with co-star Bill Nighy.

As the evening wore on, Ifans rocked up at a charity karaoke bash at Ronnie Scotts in Soho, where Gwyneth Paltrow belted out smooth classic Killing Me Softly.

As Rhys left the venue, he was followed by a couple of photographers, irritating him into throwing the bottle.

Rhys threw some beer on a photographer, carried on walking, turned around and then threw the bottle at a snapper, the Sun quoted an onlooker as saying.

Luckily he ducked out of the way.

The police grabbed Rhys to calm him and escorted him to The Groucho Club, the onlooker added. (ANI)
