Prominent Gandhian felicitated
October 22nd, 2011 - 6:28 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 22 (IANS) Prominent Gandhian and Sarvodaya leader Laxmi Dass was felicitated by Sanatan Sanskriti Sansthan, a leading organization engaged in promoting secular values, national integration and brotherhood, at a function here.
Jagjiwan Bakhshi, Sansthan president presented a shawl, a plaque-citation and an ‘Abhinandan Patra’ to Dass at a function here late Friday.
Laxmi Dass, who is secretary of the Harijan Sewak Samaj and was recently elected as chairman of Kangra Co-operative Bank, was felicitated for his contribution to secularism, brotherhood and upliftment of the downtrodden. He is also promoting nature cure and is associated with a number of other organizations.
