Pregnant woman, foetus survive fall from third floor
September 14th, 2010 - 6:06 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Sep 14 (IANS) A five-month pregnant woman and her foetus have miraculously survived a fall from the third floor of a building on fire in China’s Jilin province.
Sun Yanqing, 20, a migrant worker, jumped out of a window in the corridor of the building with her husband in a bid to escape the fire, the China Daily reported Tuesday.
The couple exulted when doctors at a hospital told them the foetus was still healthy.
