Police helicopter called to find little hide-and-seek girl
November 6th, 2009 - 11:43 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Regensburg (Germany), Nov 6 (DPA) A little girl playing hide-and-seek seemed to vanish into thin air, prompting a manhunt by the police force of the German city of Regensburg, a spokesman said Friday.
A police sniffer dog lost her scent and a police helicopter was scrambled into the air as her parents became desperate. Police on foot scoured the city area in vain after the girl, 7, disappeared Thursday afternoon while playing with a boy.
Just before the helicopter arrived, neighbours discovered her crouched down behind rubbish bins on the next-door property, still playing her hiding game.
