Now, an invisible bra that can be worn under the skin for boob lift!
September 4th, 2010 - 2:23 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 4 (ANI): Forget breast implants, for scientists have come up with ‘invisible bra’, which can be worn under the skin.
The internal bra System called Breform is a soft sponge placed under the skin and acts in the same way as a bra without the need for implants to enhance the bust.
The cone-shaped polyester mesh is placed under the skin of the breast and attached with stitches to a layer of fat above the breast tissue.
Whatever confidence boost the private procedure brings does, however, come with a hefty price tag of 5,900 pounds.
Consultant breast surgeon Fiona Court, from Nuffield Health, said it works by attaching the mesh to the chest wall.
“Over time, with gravity and pressures on the tissue, the skin stretches and you get drooping. The Breform supports the breast tissue into its new position,” the Daily Mail quoted Court as saying.
“It is a very safe mesh and you cannot feel it when it is under the skin. It is effectively a thin layer of sponge but it has enough strength to support the breast tissue,” she said.
Court added that the internal bra might help those who had undergone radiotherapy treatment.
She said: “There are many women lacking in self-esteem because of problems with their breasts, after giving birth for example, and they don’t feel womanly anymore.” (ANI)
