Log on to find details of missing children
November 20th, 2009 - 8:09 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Friday launched a website that will have information on all lost children staying in children’s homes in the capital.
“It will be now much more convenient for the parents of missing children to have information about their lost children. They can log on at www.cwc.wcddel.in for details,” said an official statement.
At present, there are over 50 children’s homes in the capital where hundreds of children are staying.
The chief minister launched the website at Delhi secretariat where she kicked off a campaign ‘Time for Change’ against child exploitation. She stressed the need of strict enforcement of various laws against exploitation of children.
