Liverpool under threat of a UFO led alien invasion!
June 26th, 2008 - 1:54 pm ICT by ANI -London, June 26 (ANI): Reported UFO sightings in Liverpool have sparked fears that the city is on the brink of facing an alien invasion.
Former policeman Steve Rafferty, 50, and his daughter Emma, saw 13 orange orbs and filmed the unexplained phenomena on a mobile phone.
Another witness captured footage and radio stations were jammed with callers reporting sightings.
They looked as if they were searching for somewhere to land. Liverpool could face an alien invasion, The Sun quoted one witness, as saying.
The sightings came as three soldiers reported seeing UFOs spinning over an army base in Shropshire, in the west of the country.
The 13 flying objects were captured on film and are now reportedly being investigated by army officials.
A schoolboy photographed a UFO on the same day that three soldiers reported their mystery sighting.
Shaun Williams, 12, went out to snap a light aircraft performing stunts above his home in Llanelli, South Wales.
Later, he looked at the pictures on his digital camera and realised he had also captured a saucer shape against a clear blue sky.
I couldnt believe it when I looked back at my pictures and this strange object was there, Shaun said. (ANI)

The airborne objects reported recently in Liverpool and Shropshire were almost certainly Thai or Chinese lanterns, which have proliferated in our skies over the past year or so…

I would like to add that a number of other sightings of cube shaped black objects spinning in the air are likely black liners for trash containers allowed to fill with hot air, same principle as lanterns, but solar powered. It is important to learn to recognize those objects so one can quickly dismiss sightings of no interest. However, it is important to consider each sighting individually as each may have a different explanation.

so no such thing as ufo’s any more they are all Thai or Chinese lanterns?

Thai lanterns!!!!! ….. CHINESE lanters!!!!!! … Hah!Hah!Hah! … Hoh!Hoh!Hoh! … Anyway .. since so many people saw those, and also since they saw those on the same day : and since so many people failed to identify them as thai and chinese lanterns : So it can be safely presumed that they were certainly un-identifiable flying objects … i wonder whens the last time so many people saw such thing on the same day !! [and comeon guys are you trying to say that Mr. Steve Rafferty, and his daughter Emma and those 3 soldiers from Shopshire and that school boy Shaun Williams ALL OF THEM ARE dumb-ass??!!]

With all due respect to the people that say these are lanterns please remember that the MOD acknowledge the existence of “Bouyant Entities” - natural balls of plasma.I saw these in Liverpool Jan 12th and again recently. They are not lanterns.
SERIOUS thought should be given to the idea that perhaps earth is passing through some kind of “space weather” and if these “orbs” of plasma continue to increase in numbers it might be best to know what happens if we were to come into contact with one.
That is IF they are as the MOD has speculated.
People that just shout lanterns are doing more harm than they realise.

what if there is more to these “sightings”?
how can people be so quick to pass these off as lanterns or space plasma??
i am not a clever man but i no it is ignorant and foolish to think we are alone in the universe.

I think the 08 “winter lights” series of illuminations as well as the “powerplant” light display over the weekend in Liverpool might have had more than just something to do with it.

The Liverpool 08 Winter Lights are just a series of colourful iluminations placed on the sides of buildings in the city - they have nothing to do with the aerial spectacle I witnessed back in January.
I have since filmed things many times - and on the 8th June had 5 hours of footage of an orb over Liverpool in the same place all day.Later that week I learned of the incident near Cardiff with the police helicopter , that took place a few hours before I spotted the sphere over Liverpool.
There IS something odd about these things and REAL SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION should be undertaken by either the MOD or the CAA - as these ARE a flight navigation hazzard at minimum.
…but people just want to watch X Factor and live in ignorant bliss.
I pity them.
