London, Aug 13 (ANI): When it comes to learning to drive, left-handers perform better than their right-handed peers, suggests a new poll.

According to the poll, an impressive 57 per cent of lefties pass first time compared with 47 per cent of right-handers.

Only five per cent of left-handers feel they are at a disadvantage in learning to drive, the poll revealed.

The study also revealed that 27 per cent of the total polled believed that cars were designed with right-handers in mind.

Scientists have hypothesized for years that left-handers are quicker to learn, The Sun quoted Simon Douglas, director of the AA Driving School, as saying. (ANI)
