October 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Here’s another shining example of how a degree is not the only thing that takes you a long way. John Kanzius, a former businessman and radio technician has no formal education in the medical sciences and doesn’t even possess a college degree. Yet, his name is probably going to go down in medical history forever.
Kanzius has built a radio wave machine that is being touted as probably being one of the most major breakthroughs in researches involving the cure of cancer. While considerable progress has been made in this field, nothing in the nature of a complete cure has yet been discovered, that is, unless the Kanzius machine proves to be it.
Kanzius himself is a terminal patient of blood caner. Having to undergo chemotherapy treatment, he was admitted into the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. However, it was not his own misery that gave him the impetus to find a complete cure for cancer; it was the broken down and deathly conditions of the terminally ill children that motivated him. So, he made the machine from the crudest of all apparatus imaginable, his wife’s pie pans and hot dogs.
The machine has created a huge buzz among the worlds researchers. A lot of money is being invested in it’s testing. The machine is being so highly esteemed because if it works out, it will cure cancer with the help of the radio waves and there will be no reason to resort to painful radiation or chemo. The only dampener in the whole matter came in the form of Kanzius’ death on Feb. 18.
