Job ad: Looking for performers to chat nude
May 12th, 2010 - 3:13 pm ICT by IANSLondon, May 12 (IANS) An advertisement seeking kinky webcam stars who have to sit naked behind a camera, talk dirty and do “other activities” has appeared in a British government run internet site.
Faceclick, a phone-sex company, used the site, Job Centre, to advertise for men, women and couples to perform from home for 100 pounds a day.
“Duties involve explicit sexual dialogue and require the successful applicant to be nude/semi nude. Informal chatting via webcam, along with any other activities you feel comfortable with,” the advertisement said.
“When I read the job description I couldn’t believe it. It’s not the sort of thing you would expect to see in a Job Centre,” The Scottish Sun quoted Robert Joyce, 55, as saying.
A woman job-seeker said: “It is sleazy. But there are a lot of people struggling just now.”
A spokesperson for Rape Crisis Scotland stated: “Adverts like this validate the notion that sexually exploitative ‘work’ is an acceptable career.”
