New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS) If you believe in what the stars say, Wednesday the day of lucky 9 - Sep 9, 2009 - represents tolerance, understanding and forgiving past injustices. And the day will recur only after 1,000 years.
“This is a day ruled by Mars, which corresponds to number nine in the Indian numerology and the zodiac chart. Mars stands for energy, fire, battles, communication and passion. It is an auspicious day, like Aug 8 in 2008, which was ruled by eight or Saturn. In the Chinese astrology, number 8 brings luck,” Prem Kumar Upadhyay, an astrologer in south Delhi, told IANS.

This is also the day when Saturn shifts from Leo sign to Virgo after having “fought with the sun in Leo”, senior astrologer B.B. Sharma said.

“As Saturn enters Virgo, an astrological situation known as ’sade-satti’ in Indian astrology will prevail in Leo and Libra, which will be beneficial. Saturn is now in its friendly sign and will shower its largesse on all,” Sharma said.

According to numerologists, Sep 9, however, is not 999 - but it is 992. As the year 2009 adds up to 2. (2+9=11 which adds to 1+1=2).

It represents tolerance, understanding, forgiving past injustices and settling old scores, astrologers say.
