Hathaway, Bonham Carter to star in Disney version of ”Alice in Wonderland”

London, Oct 9 (ANI): American actress Anne Hathaway has signed on to star in Tim Burton’’s Disney version of ”Alice in Wonderland”.
The ”Brokeback Mountain” star will be playing the role of the White Queen, according to Hollywood Reporter.
Helena Bonham Carter, Burton’’s fiancee, will be playing the role of the Red Queen.
Australian actress Mia Wasikowska will play the role of Alice, and Johnny Depp will play the Mad Hatter.
”Alice in Wonderland” is a novel by Lewis Carroll’’s, and Burton’’s version of it will be released in March 2010.
His version of the classic fantasy tale will use a mixture of live action and animation and will be made in 3D. (ANI)
