New Delhi, May 13 (ANI): Time and again films have been made featuring metropolis Mumbai as its main protagonist. With every new flick, a completely unknown side of the city is brought forth. And the same applies to Mumbai Cutting the film which is a buffet of 10 films serving different flavours of the metropolis.
The White Cloud production brings to life Mumbai but with a difference. It explores the psyche of why the glamour obsessed city has such a stronghold on the people who come there and still survive the adversity to continue being there.
In order to launch White clouds, Niyati the producer, had to woo ace directors and technical teams to join her and then craft a canvas where different facet of Mumbai was painted. And so Mumbai Cutting was born.
The hit list includes Sudhir Mishra, Kundan Shah, Anurag Kashyap, Revathy, Rahul Dholakia, Ruchi Narin, Manish Jha, Rituparno ghosh, Jahnu Barua, Shahshank Ghosh, and newcomer Ayush Raina.
Handling such colossal talents would have been a tight ropewalk but I was pleasantly surprised at their elite professionalism Niyati, the CEO of White cloud production said, as describing working with the ten directors she had roped in.
Every director had his or her own vision, when it came to the creation of the short film.
