London, Sept.9 (ANI): Test cricketer Sourav Ganguly has said that he has no intention of retiring from cricket just yet. The south paw, who has scored over 18,000 international runs in a span of 16 years, was recently not considered for the Rest of India squad that is to take on the Delhi Ranji Trophy team in this years Zal Irani Trophy match, and this led to rumors that the 36-year-old was considering retirement from all forms of the game.
But Ganguly, promoting mobile Internet phone company vyke.com, has revealed he is not thinking of chucking in the towel for some time. Sun Sport quoted him as saying: I would like to think I have a couple of years left! But I wont say Ill miss touring. Ill miss the cricket we play the satisfaction you get from scoring a century or from winning a Test. He also said that his favorite opposition was England, but added that Australia was hard work.
He also admitted that playing in India was far more hectic than playing abroad. (ANI)
