Melbourne, July 14 (ANI): Former Australian swimming champion Ian Thorpe has revealed that he is in love, but has refused to divulge the identity of his partner.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Thorpe has only said that she isn”t Australian.
Describing his relationship as newbie and going well, he said: they don”t live in this country.””
Thorpe, who is preparing to travel to the Beijing Olympics to honour sponsorship commitments, has previously been linked to a bevy of women.
In 2006, gossip had him dating television sports presenter Lee Furlong.
And at the Athens Olympics in 2004, the Australian swimming star was rumoured to be in a relationship with American swimming star Amanda Beard.
Thorpe has been reported as being a gay, which he has denied.
Thorpe said he didn”t care about such rumours. (ANI)
