Beijing, Jan 21 (Xinhua) The Chinese government Wednesday committed to spend 850 billion yaun ($123 billion) in the health sector over the next three years to help the country’s 1.3 billion people.The decision was taken at an executive meeting of the State Council chaired by the Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.
The money would be spent in building health infrastructure, among others, in the country’s urban and rural areas over the next three years.
It also seeks to provide easy and affordable health services.
