Chest physicians from across the globe to gather in Lucknow
November 4th, 2008 - 5:02 pm ICT by IANS - Send to a friend:Lucknow, Nov 4 (IANS) Chest physicians, researchers and pulmonary disease experts from across the globe would gather in Lucknow to attend a three-day international meet starting Thursday, officials said.The National Conference of Chest Physicians and the Indian Chest Society is organising the conference, officials added.
“Multi drug-resistant and extreme drug-resistant tuberculosis, asthma, interstitial lung disease would be discussed during the conference,” said Rajendra Prasad, secretary of the organising committee.
Also, the relationship between yoga and respiratory diseases would be discussed threadbare, he said.
Researchers from the American College of Chest Physicians, European Respiratory Society, Pakistan Chest Society along with experts from other countries would participate in the conference, officials said.
Over 2,000 participants are expected for the event, they added.
