Awkward films are the funniest

- London, Oct 25 (ANI): Laughter is triggered most often by “discomfort and tension”, claims a psychologist who adds that the funniest movies are the ones that make us feel awkward.
The Daily Star reports, after viewing films including Zack And Miri Make A Porno, Dr Rachel Andrew said: “Unsettling emotions can be difficult to deal with.
“Film uses laughs to bring them into the open.
“For instance, sex and pornography make great comedy because of the emotional discomfort we experience discussing them.” (ANI)
