At 9.7 cm, this woman has world’s longest tongue
November 2nd, 2011 - 7:36 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Nov 2 (IANS) A 21-year-old American woman has been officially certified by Guinness as having the world’s longest tongue, measuring a whopping 9.7 cm.
Chanel Tapper, from Houston, US, shot to fame as a 13-year-old, when she was spotted sticking out her monster tongue in a YouTube video, says The Sun.
In September, Guinness invited Tapper to Los Angeles where they measured her tongue. She beat two other women contenders to the world record.
“I have always been silly and goofy. I love sticking my tongue out at people. I started doing that back in school. I’ve never had a problem with having a long tongue, it’s just fun,” Tapper said.
