25th batch leaves for Amarnath cave shrine

Srinagar, July 13 (ANI): The 25th batch of pilgrims has left Jammu for the Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas here today.
The batch of 1,137 pilgrims, including 77 women and 21 children, left in a cavalcade of 34 vehicles from the base camp at Bhagwati Nagar at 5 a.m.
With today’’s batch, a total of 49,603 pilgrims from across the country have left for the hill shrine since the commencement of the pilgrimage on June 17.
About five lakh pilgrims have already paid obeisance at the cave shrine this season. (ANI)
