20 needles in woman’s body in Brazil
July 10th, 2010 - 5:59 pm ICT by IANSRio De Janeiro, July 10 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Doctors discovered more than 20 needles in the body of a Brazilian woman, the media reported Saturday.
The 35-year-old woman in the state of Para complained of aches in her ear, and the needles were discovered accidentally during an X-ray examination.
Doctors found 24-26 steel needles in the woman’s soft tissues. They will decide whether to subject her to surgery to remove the objects.
