The doctors went on strike May 26 demanding that their services should be regularised. The doctors also wanted to be exempted from written examination.
According to the government, a total of 620 doctors were working on contract in Jharkhand.
The Indian Medical Association’s Jharkhand unit has threatened to go to the court against the dismissals.
