Two killed, four injured as terrorists strike at Lal Chowk in Srinagar
January 6th, 2010 - 5:01 pm ICT by ANISrinagar, Jan.6 (ANI): At least two security personnel have died and four others have been injured in a terrorist attack on Central Reserve Police Force camp here on Wednesday.
It all happened as terrorists lobbed grenades and fired at Central Reserve Police.
Presently, the terrorists are hiding in a hotel building, located at the Lal Chowk, and it is believed that that the number
of terrorists is two.
CRPF personnel and police officials are presently engaged in a gun-battle with the terrorists in the hotel.
The area has been cordoned off to prevent escalation of affect of terrorist attack.
Meanwhile, Jamait-e-Mujahiddin, a terrorist group, has taken responsibility of today’s attack on CRPF camp, a private channel reported. (ANI)
