Sonia Gandhi New Delhi, Dec. 12 (ANI): Members of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) will meet here on Monday to strategise on how to counter the opposition blocking of parliament.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi will meet with party MPs on the the last day of the winter session of Parliament, which has seen the longest ever shutdown in the wake of the opposition demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the 2G Spectrum scam.

This will be the first interaction between Gandhi and party MPs after the Bihar assembly polls in which the party received a huge setback.

In the past, each Parliament session used to have two CPP general body meetings, one at the start and another shortly before end. In the winter session, however, there has been only one meeting of the CPP. (ANI)
