PM to visit Kashmir to announce jobs package for youth

New Delhi, Mar 3 (ANI): The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, will visit Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday and is likely to announce a special employment package for the youth of the state.
Dr Singh will be in the state for two days, where he is expected to address the convocation ceremony of the Sher-e-Kashmir Agriculture University and will also inaugurate housing scheme for Kashmiri migrants. Over 800 houses will be allotted to them.
Former Reserve Bank of India governor, C Rangarajan has prepared the comprehensive job plan.
Security has been tightened across the city, ahead of Singh’s visit.
It will be Dr. Singh’s first visit after June 2010. (ANI)
