No replacement for Heath Ledger’s Joker role in Batman
June 7th, 2010 - 5:01 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 7 (ANI): Batman director Christopher Nolan has said that late actor Heath Ledger will not be replaced as Joker in Batman.
Two years after the death of Ledger, Nolan said that he would never find another Joker.
With a new Batman film in the pipeline, Nolan has ruled out the prospect of replacing the Aussie actor.
Ledger died due to an overdose of prescription drugs, months before he won a posthumous award for his role in ‘The Dark Knight’.
“I don’t feel comfortable about it,” the Daily Express quoted Nolan as saying. (ANI)
