London, Sep 30 (ANI): Kim Cattrall, who plays man-eater Samantha in ‘Sex And The City’ franchise, has said that the second movie hadn’t been made for film reviewers.

The movie - which saw Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda embark on a lavish trip to Abu Dhabi - got a drubbing from critics.

However, the actress remains defiant about ‘Sex And The City’.

“Look, it was never meant to be a critics’ movie. It was just intended to be a bit of light-hearted fun,” the Mirror quoted Kim as telling The Guardian.

Plans for a third film were given the boot after the dire reviews for the second instalment.

“I just think some people need to get a life. I thought it was fabulous.” (ANI)
