Jammu, Oct.14 (ANI): Students in Jammu have cheered for the Indian contingent in the Commonwealth Games-2010 through their artistic touch of Rangoli.
“We have made this logo of Commonwealth Games to wish our players best of luck,” said Manpreet Kaur, school student.
Students also created a Rangoli of Shera, mascot of the Commonwealth Games, to motivate the players to win more gold medals.
“This mascot of Commonwealth Games is made by us to motivate the players of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and to make them win more and more gold medals,” said Abhinav Gupta, another student.
The Rangoli of Shera was designed on a floor on the area of nearly 6000 square feet and it had been a joint effort of hundreds of students and their art teachers. (ANI)
