An Indian Team player Harbhajan Singh has allegedly slapped his own Indian team mate Sreesanth.

Now, most of you would be wondering why this has happened. It looks similar to another incident a couple of years ago where Shoaib Akhtar, a Pakistani cricket player had hit his own team mate Mohammad Asif with a cricket bat, as a result Shoaib Akhtar was banned for couple of matches by PCB(Pakistan cricket board) .

Guys here we are , feeling the heat of IPL competitiveness.

No matter they might be playing together for team India, but right now they are playing for their city and bosses. It is believed that Singh has slapped Sreesanth after the match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab.

Harbhajan Singh plays for Mumbai Indias and Sreesanth for Kings XI Punjab. Harbhajan slapped Sresanth after loosing the match to Kings XI Punjab. After a serious argument between both of them Harbhajan slapped Sreesanth and then Sreesanth was found crying on the field. The fast bowler Sreshant is known for his onfield aggression. Would he ever be seen crying in public?

It is believed that Harbhajan Singh has apologized for the incident. On the other hand he has also denied slapping Sreesanth. Now, if he hasn’t slapped why would he need to apologize to Sreesanth?

In the mean while BCCI has asked Harbhajan Singh to explain the matter as he is a contracted player of Indian team.

The Match Refree in the Mohali Game, Farroq Engineer, former Indian wicket keeper was quoted on cricinfo.com to have said “In the absence of any evidence I am in the dark. I don’t know what went on on the pitch and what triggered the alleged incident,”. He has also asked for the video footage and if anything is found against Harbhajan Singh, he will be duely punished.
