Patna, Jan.3 (ANI): The Environment and Forest Departments has created the Rajdhani Vatika Smriti park in Patna, where trees with religious significance have been planted.
Avdesh Kumar, the Forest officer of Smriti Park, said: “This park is formed with religious viewpoint and it is named Smriti Park. It is a memorial park and it also joins religions. For example, Tirthankar Van (forest) is related to Jainism, Rashi Van is related to Hinduism, Char Bagh is related to Islam and Buddha Vatika is related to Buddhism.”
“It is wholly related to religions, and plants that are related to each zodiac signs are also planted here,” he added.
Visitors thronged the park to experience its uniqueness and diversity.
“I am very happy to see this park, as there are very beautiful, useful and significant plants planted here. I am also happy because the zodiac park here reveals all the secrets related to all zodiac signs and which plant is suitable for which sign. It also beautifies our environment and makes it pollution-free, so indeed it is a meritorious work done by them,” said Arun Kumar, a visitor.
“It will not only teach children but also the elders how to safeguard environment, make it more pure, and how unpolluted and fresh air can be welcomed here,” he added.
The Rajdhani Vatika Smriti park is spread over 9.18 hectares area. (ANI)
