Dustin Hoffman ‘is too much of a wimp to play ‘Tootsie’ like woman again’
October 2nd, 2010 - 5:14 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 2 (ANI): Dustin Hoffman is fondly remembered for his role as a gender-crossing wannabe in the hit movie ‘Tootsie’, but now he has said that he’s too much of a wimp to play a woman ever again.
“Men have no idea what it’s like to be a woman,” the Daily Express quoted Hoffman as saying.
The painfully long make-up hours are another reason why Hoffman would not take up the role.
“If I didn’t have such a low pain threshold and if the make-up didn’t take four hours to do, I’d make a sequel to ‘Tootsie’,” he said.
“The older I get, the more emotional I become.”
“I’m told I cry with the weather. Perhaps I’m turning into a woman!” he added. (ANI)
