Hundreds of onlookers have been visiting Kulataratang village, about 80 km from state capital Bhubaneswar to witness this rare sight. Manguli Bhoi’s cow has been feeding the goats for half an hour every day.
Bhoi is the owner of both the cow and the goats. He has one shed where he keeps his livestock.
“One of the goats gave birth to four kids three months ago. She stopped feeding two of them a month later as she was weak and not able to produce enough milk,” Bhoi said.
“We were astonished when we saw both the baby goats — who were denied milk by their mother — getting nourishment from our cow,” he told IANS.
“It is a rare sight. Hundreds of people from nearby villages have been thronging to witness this unique love and affection between the goats and the cow,” village head Harekrushna Biswal said.
