Coimbatore, Dec.19 (ANI): Arther Pradeep, a 32 year-old man from Coimbatore, has a unique way of creating different sounds of birds and animals.
As a child Pradeep used to play the tabla, and then realized that he could do a lot more by playing the instrument in different ways and produce sounds that are different.
Pradeep said he wanted to do things with the Tabla that others couldn’t and tried to create sounds of animals and birds.
“How to give special effects through Tabla, out of Tabla, then our mimicry birds, birds flying then the animals, dogs barking and all. By creating special effects in tabla,” said Pradeep.
Pradeep’s hands move smoothly over tabla to produce the sounds of a running horse using a hammer as well as a dog barking.
According to Pradeep, his ambition is to become a music director. But for now, he teaches underprivileged children in rural areas. (ANI)
