Bicycle ride creates climate awareness in New Delhi

New Delhi, Dec.5 (ANI): Delhi Cycling Club (DCC) organized
its fourth ‘Climate Bicycle Ride’ to spread awareness on climate change and
rising pollution by mentioning the importance of cycling and its benefits for
human beings here on Sunday.
The 11 kilometres ride on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor,
was held between Ambedkar Nagar Terminal and Moolchand at 8:00 a.m.
“Here apart from Delhi, we have participants from various
places like Noida, Gurgaon, and Faridabad. We are 50 to 55 people in total. We
did cycling in approximately 11 km at BRT corridor. We all enjoyed it,” said
Rajender Verma, Delhi Cycling Club organiser.
One of the cyclists, Rudreshwar, suggested people to do
cycling everyday for at least half an hour.”According to me this ride will give good message. Pollution
is increasing day by day and cycle is medium that do not cause any pollution in
fact improves your health. So, I think everyone should do cycling everyday at
least for half an hour to stay fit and healthy,” said Rudreshwar. (ANI)
