15-feet python creates a flutter in Rajasthan village

Chandsen Village (Tonk District, Rajasthan), Sept.7 (ANI): The presence of a15-foot-long python in ahouse here,createdboth a scare and curiosity among residents.
Sita Devi, the house owner, was startled after noticing thelong reptile inside her home.
Scared, she put a tin tub over the python for the entire night and then calledforest officials for help. They arrivedthe next day.
“We made a loop tocatch the python. We had a specialist too. We irritated the python, and when it raised its head, we immediately put the loop and got hold of it andput it into a sack,” said Yashwant Singh, a forest ranger.
At least 700 villagers gathered to catch aglimpse of the reptile.
“Some people started throwing stones at it. We got scared, as we didn’t want the python to die,” said Ram Dev, the village head.
Forest rangers later released the pythonin the forest located near thevillage. (ANI)
