The tenth day of November however, is a special day for men, women members who are United States Marines.

USMC is a branch of the United States armed forces who provides force projection from the sea using the mobility of the U.S. Navy to deliver combined-arms task forces.

As is tradition, United States Marines, past and present will gather in a dignified manner across the globe - including at several Los Angeles Fire Stations - to briefly celebrate the 233rd anniversary of the Corps, and to hear a Birthday message from the Commandant.

Members of the Los Angeles Fire Department, Chatham County Commission, The Marine Color Guard from Parris Island and Marine Corps Major Gilbert Dmeza have wished and helped USMC celebrate its birthday to show admirations to those who have honorably served in the nation’s Armed Forces.
