Weather turns warm in Delhi (Lead)
November 26th, 2009 - 8:14 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 26 (IANS) The weather turned a little warmer in the capital Wednesday as it recorded a maximum temperature of 27.8 degrees, two degrees above average for this time of the year when winter is approaching.
After days of early morning chill, the mercury level in Delhi rose marginally.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature recorded at 5.30 p.m. Thursday evening was 27.8 degrees while the minimum recorded in the morning was 10.5 degrees, a notch above average.
“Temperatures will remain more or less constant over the next few days although there may be slight fluctuations,” an IMD official said.
Morning mist and clear sky is predicted for Friday, the official added.
