New Delhi, April 11 (IANS) The mercury continued its upward trend Friday in northern India with the temperature in the national capital breeching the 35-degree mark and signalling the arrival of warmed days in the region. Many parts of the state have been witnessing over 36 degree Celsius temperatures over past few days, including Bhubaneswar that recorded 36.9 degrees Celsius and 38.1 degrees Celsius respectively Wednesday and Thursday.

During the next 48 hours, this weather trend will continue in most parts of the state, the Met Office said.
