Warm start to weekend in Delhi
December 5th, 2009 - 12:51 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS) A light mist cover over the national capital saw the temperature rising by two degrees Saturday. The weatherman has forecast it will be a warm day.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature expected during the day is 27 degrees Celsius.
“There was mist in the morning. During the day there will be mainly clear sky,” an IMD official said.
The minimum temperature could dip to 10 degrees Celsius mark.
The maximum temperature recorded Friday was 27.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above average for this time of the year, the official added.
Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-3 degrees in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and northeast India as well, the IMD site said.
